Reception is whoever is teaching. Between classes the front room is open to sit in, with or without buying anything.

By train
Bahnhof Oerlikon is four minutes from Zürich HB and eleven from the airport. Leave by the Sternen exit, walk south, turn into Friesstrasse. Six minutes, one crossing.
By tram and bus
Tram 10 and 14 and bus 94 all stop at Sternen Oerlikon, three minutes away. Night buses run past the corner on Friday and Saturday, which matters after the jam.
By bike, by car
Bike racks under the roller door, covered and lit. Two blue-zone parking spaces on the street, free after 19:00. There is a large car park at the shopping centre, four minutes away.
Access
Step-free from the pavement into both rooms, accessible toilet on the ground floor, and one changing room that is not gendered. Tell us what you need and we will tell you honestly whether the building can do it.
Hire a room
Big room 120 m², small room 45 m². Sprung floor in both, mirrors on one wall only, blackout blinds, PA with a jack and Bluetooth, changing room, kitchen.

Practical things
How do I claim a pay-what-you-can place?
Use the form, pick a pay-what-you-can place, and write one line. You will not be asked for documents, a reason, or a number you can justify. It gets attached to your name and then it is simply how you book, with nothing visible to anyone else in the room.
I want to teach here.
Write with what you teach, who it is for, and one video of you teaching rather than performing. Teachers are paid a fixed fee per class regardless of how many people come, and we plan the timetable twice a year, in May and November.
Can you host our shoot or casting?
Yes, and often at short notice on weekday mornings. The small room has blackout blinds and reasonably neutral walls. Anya also directs movement for film through bila.film if you need someone on the other side of the camera.
Do you do birthdays and hen parties?
We do, for groups of eight to twenty, with a teacher and ninety minutes of choreography chosen by whoever is being celebrated. Prosecco is your department.
